Programme Overview

M.Sc. in Medical Biotechnology is a two-year post-graduation course. Medical Biotechnology focuses more on the study of living cells and organisms to help mankind. It helps to manufacture and produce pharmaceuticals and diagnostic products to cure human diseases. M.Sc. in Medical Biotechnology is different from M.Sc. in Biotechnology as it focuses more on humans.

Programme Outcomes

Hands on training on research Projects - This will help the students to develop technical skills of solving problems while undertaking a research project.
Accomplish lab based tasks - On completion of the course, students would know how to undertake lab based tasks independently
Identify and provide solutions - Students will be able to know what are the recent problems that are prevalent in the field of medical technology and will be able to suggest solutions for the same.

Eligibility

The candidate should have passed Bachelor’s degree in Science / Technology from any recognised university or its equivalent examination in any of the subjects, Biotechnology / Biochemistry / Zoology / Microbiology / Botany /Chemistry / Pharmacy / Medicine including Homeopathy and Ayurveda / Veterinary Science with minimum 50% for general category and 45% in case of SC / ST/ OBC.
