Showcasing Sustainability Research: BVIEER Students at International Conference
Five M.Sc. students from Bharati Vidyapeeth Institute of Environment Education and Research (BVIEER), Pune presented their master’s research at the 19th Winter Meeting of the International Consortium for Interdisciplinary Education about Health and the Environment held on 15–16 January 2026 organised jointly by Universities of Cologne, Germany, Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University, India and Duquesne University and Southern Illinois University Carbondale, the United States of America. Their work covered diverse themes such as ecotourism and marine conservation, circular economy and textile upcycling, wildlife representation in media, ESG–SDG integration, and nature connectedness among children—closely aligning with the conference theme, “Environment, Health, and Education: Hope in Times of Global Change.
