Sritama Banerjee is an Assistant Professor with academic and industry experience in Computer Science and Engineering. She is currently pursuing a Ph.D. at SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai, with research interests in Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Data Science, Cybersecurity and Intelligent Surveillance Systems. She has taught undergraduate students in areas such as Full Stack Web Development, Python, Cloud Computing and Big Data and has previously worked as a Software Engineer in the healthcare and technology domain, gaining practical experience in Python, AWS and data analytics. She has published research papers in IEEE conferences and reputed journals and actively contributes to academic administration through roles such as IQAC Coordinator, student mentoring and curriculum development. Passionate about research, innovation, and outcome-based education, she strives to create an interactive learning environment that bridges theoretical concepts with real-world applications and prepares students for industry and research careers.
